New Soccer Uniforms

The IA Guardians played their first game in new uniforms. Coach Shulgin and Coach K have worked for a month and half with the students and it shows. They put up quite a battle against the Teacher/Parent team.

Picture Day Smiles

Students once again have come dressed, looking their best for picture day. The best smiles of the year are always on display. The 2017-2018 yearbook will be filled our amazing and great looking students.

Safety First — Fire Drill

A school wide fire drill was held this morning and was a complete success. The students walked quickly and orderly out of the building together with their teachers to the designated meeting points. Even Zdun made it out safely.

Congratulations to Birdie and her art teacher Mrs. Gina! Birdie’s watercolor painting called «Happy Frog» was chosen as one of twelve art pieces to be featured in ACSI’s international calendar for the 2017-2018 school year. First bell of the 2017-2018 school year!

Once again the new school year at International Academy begins with the First Bell ceremony. The building is alive with sounds and laughter of children returning from summer vacation. IA wishes all its students a successful and joyous year ahead.

Guardians Soccer — Third Place!

We are so proud of this year’s middle school Guardians soccer team which participated in the AAS soccer tournament and took third place. This was the first year that the team has played competitively. It was a great experience for the team and gives them something to build on going forward. Way to go Guardians!

Happy Together — Spring Concert

The Middle and High school choir and band students put on an amazing two-hour long concert. They performed pop songs in four different languages and amazed us with their abilities to sing, dance, and play music from different eras. Above high school students DJ, Pasha, and Kevin perform the concert’s theme song «Happy Together».

Guardians Cup First Place!

After initially losing to school 239 in a two point overtime loss, the boy’s varsity team came back to beat this same team in the final to take first place in the Guardians Cup. The team effort was amazing through out the tournament.
