My name is Narina Kudaeva (Miss Narina / Mrs. Kudaeva), and I’m the Elementary Principal at International Academy and on behalf of our elementary staff team, I am happy to welcome you. Our Curriculum
Our internationally recognized and accredited English curriculum provides rigor and the pathways for literacy to ensure lifelong learning. In our elementary classrooms, students explore the world around them, new ideas, gain critical thinking skills, develop character, and cultivate a love for learning. Our comprehensive and enriching curriculum prepares students for success in their future academic endeavors. Kindergarten is the first required year of our curriculum and focuses on reading and mathematical skills in English while grades 1 through 5 build on that foundational knowledge and prepare students for Middle School. We support multicultural learning and English Language Learners through supplementary programs and testing in the elementary years.

Measures of Academic Progress (MAP Testing)
In grades K through 2 our teachers individually test students on their academic development and provide regular feedback to parents. In grades 3 through 5, three times a year, we monitor English reading, writing and mathematics progress through the internationally recognized Measures of Academic Progress test.
Social and Emotional Development
Our experienced faculty members are passionate about creating a positive learning environment that nurtures our students’ social and emotional growth. Our social-emotional curriculum focuses on developing friendship and character traits that will help your child understand and manage their emotions, build positive relationships with others, and make responsible decisions. As a result, our students feel safe and supportive, learn how to communicate, collaborate and effectively resolve conflicts. The Student-Teacher Ratio is 10:1 or less, so students enjoy individual attention.
Russia General Education Curriculum Program
We ensure the completion of the requirements for the Russian general educational curriculum to support mother tongue literacy and education. Russian citizens can combine completion of our international diploma together with the completion of Russian elementary requirements including annual examinations.
